Education & Appointments

I completed my BA (2006), MA (2008) and PhD (approved, July 2014) in linguistics at Tel-Aviv University.

After submitting my dissertation I was a research associate at the Sentence Processing Lab (Tel-Aviv University) and a postdoctoral researcher at the  Experimental Semantics Lab (Bar-Ilan University).

Between 2015 and 2017 I was a Rothschild and NIH postdoctoral fellow at the Language Production lab (The University of California, San Diego, Department of Psychology), studying the complex cognitive systems humans use to turn abstract messages into well-formed sentences.

I spent 2018 at the Language, Logic and Cognition Center (the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) as a Golda Meir postdoctoral fellow, and 2019 at Tel-Aviv university with the fine people of the Sentence Processing Lab working on ISF and GIF funded projects.

In February 2020, I joined AI21labs, an exciting and promising Israeli startup, packed with super-talented minds working on building AI systems with the capacity to understand and generate natural language.
